First graders learned fundamental paper folding and construction techniques. They rolled paper into tubes, made accordion fold, cut or folded triangular support structure, and created box shape to make stacked boxes. They worked in a team of two to construct their Dot Day tower.

The Courage To Think Different
Think Different: The Apple Reimagined
Grades 3–5 Student Art Exhibition
For more process photos please visit Bush Vidigami (Arts Page)
What if thinking differently was the greatest gift we could give a student?
Inspired by Apple’s “Think Different” campaign, students began by drawing a simple apple. Then, they were challenged to ask:
"In what other ways could we make an apple?"
Using the creative strategies of Bending, Breaking, and Blending (*1), students transformed the ordinary apple into bold, imaginative designs—redefining what an apple could be.
